Nursing Guidelines are developed by The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) nurses for RCH nurses.

The content may be applicable to other healthcare providers/students. Based on current best evidence, these guidelines are developed to promote the best care of patients and families and reduce variation in practice.

These guidelines are written with a new starter or student nurse in mind however they are intended for all nurses at the RCH.
